On the occasion of the centenary of Stanisław Lem's birth, the year 2021 was announced as his name.For this occasion, the National Center for Culture decided to issue a handy calendar/planner.
Solution
We thought this item would look like a box with a still working old computer. According to this key, we selected the typography and the method of saving the content. Everything in monochrome, interspersed with additional punctuation marks and very different kerning. The method of communication - first-person.
However, in order not to be too technocratic, the calendar was decorated with twelve illustrations. Each of them creates a futuristic and cosmic atmosphere and has a numeral integrated into it that defines a given month.On the cover, we used very interesting paper, which both in terms of structure and print, faithfully resembled some interesting stone, solidified lava or the surface of another planet. Inside, of course, slightly creamy, but also slightly rough paper.

Rozwiązanie
Pomyśleliśmy aby ten przedmiot przypominał jakąś skrzynkę z jeszcze działającym komputerem. Według tego klucza dobraliśmy typografię i sposób zapisywania treści. Wszystko monochromatyczne, przeplecione dodatkowymi znakami interpunkcyjnymi i bardzo różnym kerningiem. Sposób komunikacji – pierwszoosobowy.
Aby jednak nie było zbyt technokratycznie to kalendarz został ozdobiony dwunastoma ilustracjami. Każda z nich tworzy klimat futurystyczno-kosmiczny i ma wkomponowaną cyfrę określającą dany miesiąc.

Na okładce użyliśmy bardzo ciekawego papieru, który zarówno strukturą jak i zadrukiem, wiernie przypominał jakiś ciekawy kamień, zastygłą lawę albo powierzchnię innej planety. Wewnątrz oczywiście lekko kremowy, ale też lekko chropowaty papier.
